I thought…

I thought I was strange and I was,

I thought I would never be needed;

I thought that love will pass by quickly,

Not forgetting to tease my heart with love's needle.

I thought that my life could not have been worse,

I thought if I died nobody'd care,

I thought that if I left the earth,

Nobody would think that it was unfair.

I thought that nobody would give a second glare,

I thought nobody would care who I am.

But I learned something really valuable here:

Nobody is perfect until you fall in love with them.

I wrote this poem the longest time ago just because I loved my newest favorite phrase "Nobody is perfect, until you fall in love with them." SO there I go, not perfect, but as close as it gets.
