For a person you loved deeply, would you be willing to move to a distant country knowing there would be little chance of seeing your friends and family again?

No way. No matter how deep my love for someone is, my love for family is always deeper. I love my family most of all, and I would never be willing to leave them behind and move on. I would much rather lose a lover than lose my family - and a part of me with that.
