Parent Teacher Conferences

Parent Teacher Conferences today. I decidded to go with my dad and check out what teachers told him about me. My zero hour teacher, my favorite, the one and the only Mrs. Pastorino was being really sweet and told my dad I was a good student. It's such a shame that I won't be able to have any classes with her next year =(

My Algebra and Geomentry teacher was quite nice as well, she was concise and to the point, gave dad my grades and explained why I don't have as good of percentage in Geometry as in Algebra. Just for the record - she hasn't checked the quiz corrections yet, so my grade was lower than I'd expect it to be.

We waited for Biology teacher, but he was too busy with other parents, and besides, not that I would want to see him outside of Biology class.

Desktop Publishing teacher was great. She got me having doubts about my final project though. I still have to find topic for my 15-pages long brochure though. What is something I would love to become tangible and give it to my children and grandchildren? Ooh, I know. Something about Lord of The Rings =)))

My English teacher weren't there, so my dad didn't get to talk to her. I would have loved him to do so though. English is the only class I consider a real challenge. I mean, the worst grade I have is Biology grade, but that's just because Biology is boring.

My dad spent about 20 minutes in World History Class. Teacher told him about my little episode when I spent lunch in History classroom whining around my bad grade on History final. I seriously thought I got about 5 out of 85, and I was sad and pathetic. I ended up getting 85 out of 85. I had "Excellent" on my paper, and that would be the proudest I've ever been of something. =) My dad found that really amusing. I just sat around and smiled, and nodded.

It was fun.

Now I have to live up to teacher's and parents' expectations...

Whoa!
