Never!

I am giving you another chance to take my quiz. =)

I love my English class. It is level higher than my other classes. I mean, there's Algebra II/Tryg, there's Geometry. Math is mind-numbing work. Biology is the worst class ever, although lately it's been fun. World History isn't as bad as I thought it to be, but I don't feel confident studying WWI and WWII from America's point of view rather than from Russia's point of view. Two computer classes are fun, but mostly I just browse the Web during those. That leaves English - the class I want to be major in, the one class I truly enjoy. The teacher is wonderful, doesn't push me into doing something I don't want to do, wants every one of us to express ourselves in any way we want. We don't just sit there and listen to what she has to say, we all have an equal voice. For she believes that voice is the most important thing we have. Our essays and poems may not help us survive, but our voice, courage, not being afraid to stand up...

Today we just sat and debated. We started off with the book, but with someone's off-topic question we got into this huge debate about prejudice and such. She told some of the things that happened to her when she was in high school. She is part Native American, part Fillipino and she went to the same school I am attending now. According to her there's still a lot of prejudice in our school halls. All I could say was "Tell me about it". I watch Native Americans being teased everyday. Ok, so maybe not everyday, but a lot! And it's sad, because it's the same as teasing a person who went through Holocaust because they can't see, or are paralized. Although, some people are hopeless enough to do so.

I seriously don't want to get on the subject of the racism and apartheid right now, because it's too long and requires a lot of experience. The only experience I had is watching some of the Native Americans get teased. I read about it, I saw it in the movies. But you can't decide what you think about something as important based on what others think. You have to form your own opinion and never, ever lose your voice. Never be afraid to stand up for what you believe in. Never, never, never...
