Watching movies all day long
02 January, 2003 @ 11:18 pm Today I watched movies, so my entry will be nothing, but movie reviews, for the movies were one of the best ones. I started watching as I woke up and after the last movie I went to sleep. So here's what I watched:
By some strange coincedence all of the above movies are the ones I refused to watch. The ones I concidered the most boring. How shallow of me. The Scarlet Letter was recommended to me by my mom, who loves that movie. I fell in love with it too, because it' s one of the movies where main characters click so much, you can feel the tension between them. When they stay close to each other, you long for them to kiss and when they do, you feel satisfaction. It is a beautiful story of forbidden love, and everyone should take some time and watch it. Fish named Wanda was also recommended to me by my mom, and might I say, I absolutely loved this comedy. Some things shocked me, some things looked unreal, but still, it's a grand comedy. Besides, you can use a load of quotes from that movie. Groundhog Day was refused by me for a long time. Just hearing the name of that movie made be bored. Although with time I felt I was missing out. I mean, if I make fun of the movie, shouldn't I at least watch it? And when I at last watched it I realized how wrong I was. It's just an average movie, that can stand in line with Runaway Bride and Dirty Dancing. My parents went to watch Lord of the Rings and I tagged alone. I thought that the only bright part of that movie would be Orlando Bloom pretending to be an elf. And it was a great part. But shockingly just one of many. I loved this movie so much more than the first one. Not only because of the actors, who were absolutely awesome. I bet if I finally got around the trilogy of the books, I would like second one better. So here's the reason why I should go read the books. And here's the reason why tonight I will watch LotR again. But hey, even though the plot is great, and the mountains are impressive, and Golum is cute, still, the major part for me was Orlando Bloom. He plays an awesome dedicated elf. I nearly fainted watching some particular scenes. I'm sorry if you were bored by my movie reviews. It's just that it's all I did today, and since I've never watched any of those movies before, I got a little emotional over them =) -less - 10 August, 2005 Content - 03 April, 2005 nothing satisfies - 25 February, 2005 in silence - 07 February, 2005
